Mini-symposia

A mini-symposium is a session focusing on a single topic.

The deadline date for mini-symposium proposals was 15 December 1998.

The scope of the Conference includes the following topics for mini-symposium

1. Mathematical modeling of hydrophysical processes in a water basin and transport of contaminants
2. Groundwater pollution
3. Mathematical modeling of hydrophysical processes in air and air pollution
4. Numerical methods for advection-diffusion equation
5. Numerical methods for the solution of unsteady PDE problems
6. Iterative methods and preconditioners in environmental modeling
7. Efficient time stepping for stiff ODEs in environmental modeling
8. High performance computing in environmental modeling

Contributed Presentations

Participate in EMMNA 99 by submitting a paper which you may present in lecture or poster format.

You can see all titles of the Contributed Presentations here.

People wishing to present a paper in a field related to the conference topics are invited either to submit electronic version of the paper (only in English) in LaTeX format by e-mail EMMNA99@uic.rnd.runnet.ru . or bring it with to the Conference on a PC-compatible diskette to handle it in directly to the Conference Organizing Committee.
Papers should be prepared according to the available form (EXAMPLE.LAT) and should not exceed 12 pages for key and invited lectures, and 8 pages for contributed talks. Notification of acceptance and mandatory format of the final manuscript will be sent around June 30, 1999.
We are going to include into Proceedings Book only presented at the Conference and passed referee's selection papers, so papers will be published after the Conference.
The book of Proceedings will be sent to participants by regular mail.

If you wish to submit a paper (or if you are submitting an abstract of a talk), please see the LaTex-example for paper and
the LaTex-example for abstract.

The deadline date for submission of a contributed abstract is March 15, 1999.

Publications

Programme Book and Book of Abstracts

All participants will be given the EMMNA 99 Programme Book and the Book of Abstracts at registration. The Programme Book will show in detail the dates, times and locations of all the events. It will also contain abstracts of the plenary lectures and an overview of each mini-symposium. The Book of Abstracts will contain the summaries of the contributed presentations and the abstracts of the talks in the mini-symposia. All of this information will be available on the Conference web site prior to the meeting.

Conference Proceedings

Plenary lectures and a Conference report will be published by Press of Russian Academy of Science. A copy will be send to all fully registered members of the Conference.
